There is a lot of background "stuff" that detracts from this photo. The colours are also washed out, and the photo is somewhat blurry. This photo can be improved:

The background has been cropped out to focus on the cats. The cropped image has been enlarged two times. The colours have been perked up, and Unsharp Masking applied to bring out the details in the cats' fur. A much better picture results.
